Across Q1, we held 3 auctions attracted 4,374 bidders, resulting in 1,085 buyers successfully securing equipment. What stands out once again is the strength of our international marketplace, with participants from 70 countries, reinforcing our ability to connect sellers with buyers worldwide.

This quarter also saw record participation to our Plantforce single-consignor auction with 740 bidders for 289 lots, highlighting continued confidence in the market.

Kicking off our Top 7, this 2021 Caterpillar D6 LGP crawler tractor delivered an excellent result at £157,500. With fewer than 5,000 usage hours, it stood out as one of the premium assets from the Plantforce Renewal auction last January, attracting strong demand from domestic buyers.

2. 2022 Komatsu PC490LC-11
£122,000

Momentum continued into February with this 2022 Komatsu PC490LC-11 crawler excavator, which achieved £122,000. Its condition and performance drove competitive bidding, ultimately securing a sale to an Irish buyer. A great example of cross-board demand in action!

6. 2019 Kobelco SK300LC-10E
£62,000

From the Plantforce Renewal auction, this 2019 Kobelco SK300LC-10E excavator – with fewer than 6,000 usage hours – sold for £62,000. Its solid condition and proven performance attracted international interest, with the final buyer coming from Estonia.

7. 2020 JCB 540-170
£41,000

Closing out the Top 7, this 2020 JCB 540-170 telehandler achieved £41,000. Part of the Plantforce fleet, it found a new home in the UAE, demonstrating once again the global reach of our marketplace.
