A Year in Review: Ritchie Bros.’ 2025 Milestones and Achievements

In 2025, Ritchie Bros. delivered one of its strongest performances to date. Strong auction activity, major regional milestones, and high customer engagement drove results across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

Throughout the year, Ritchie Bros. strengthened its position as a global equipment sales marketplace. By combining technology, trusted expertise, and local teams, the company connected sellers to international buyers with confidence.

APAC & EMEA: A year driven by global demand

Across EMEA and APAC, Ritchie Bros. conducted 79 auctions in 2025. These sales included more than 101,800 lots from over 6,000 sellers. In turn, they attracted 21,300+ buyers and 81,300+ bidders through Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, IronPlanet, and Marketplace-E.

Together, these results demonstrate the strength of Ritchie Bros.’ global equipment sales platform. Local market knowledge, combined with international reach, continues to help customers make confident fleet decisions.

United Kingdom | Global demand for UK assets

In the United Kingdom, Ritchie Bros. maintained strong momentum throughout 2025. Growth came from the continued expansion of the off-site auction service and the opening of a new equipment storage yard in Mullingar, Ireland. Together, these initiatives gave sellers easier, more cost-effective access to global buyers.

One event stood out in particular. The M O’Brien off-site auction attracted bidders from 47 countries. More than 53% of participants joined from outside the UK. Meanwhile, 64% of the total auction value sold internationally. Clearly, global demand for UK-based assets remains strong.
